Best tamales and hot sauce in East Texas! The breakfast tacos and the Chorizo plate are second to none. I love the staff, they are fast and will remember you after one visit. Well, I maybe a little partial, I've been eating there since 1974! Highly recommend if you like Tex-mex!

We enjoyed everything we ordered, especially the refried and charro beans. The kids finished their enchiladas, I loved my chicharrones plate and my husband's flautas were perfect. I would eat there again if traveling nearby.

I have only ate their already made burrito, it is a weekly traditions. They are so good, i would like to try more of their menu. This is Good authentic, Mexican, its not your text mex garbage

I've lived in Lufkin since 2009 and just now discovered this place. Food is amazing! Prices are quite reasonable and the staff is very friendly! I highly recommend this place!

By far the best breakfast burritos you will ever find. They are authentic and well worth the wait. Their chicharrones are amazing too. This place is just the best all around.

I wondered what "The Best Mexican Food in Lufkin was." This place is good! The prices are great. I ordered chilaquiles although it wasn't on the menu. They brought out delicious housemade chips and salsa while I waited. The place was legit too-- the side chips even had a tiny potato spring in it. My breakfast was delicious. There were sadly no eggs, but the chips, beautifully crispy hashbrowns, well seasoned beans and hot corn tortillas were an AMAZING breakfast. 10/10 would definitely return.

Best breakfast in Lufkin!! 7.99 breakfast chorizo plate for $7.99 is enough for two people with the best refried beans in Texas. Also good chips and fantastic hot sauce delivered without having to ask! They have Coke Zero on the server yourself beverage dispenser with the syrup turned up high for a rich glass of the nectar of the gods! The tamales are huge and always wrapped perfectly and moist! Better be hungry because they are really big and worth every penny! By a dozed to take home and freeze for lunch all week! I have been eating with the Maldonado family since they opened in the seventies, it's a don't miss place to eat in North Lufkin. Go early on Sunday mornings or you will stand in line!!

Great costumer service and very fast. I had the Machacado and it was great. Bought a half a dozen of tamales because it seemed that everyone was buying tamales. I definitely recommend trying Launica Tortilleria for a great Mexican breakfast if you're in Lufkin. 10/10!
